Ride from Conwy we follow the back road to Betws Y Coed with a nice an easy 15 mile warm up before breakfast. Then we follow part of the Sarn Helen, this is where the challenging terrain begins. Over the next 8 miles we will be doing a number of hike a bikes but trust me the views are worth all the effort. Eventually the gravel ends and it is back onto quiet lanes over to Porthmadog for lunch, before turning north for a stunning beach at Dinas Dillie for our overnight wild camp on the beach.

Day 2 we will have a nice easy day following the coast with plenty of stops making our way back to Conwy. No climbs today, a real easy day as a reward for all our effort the day before.

Wild camping allows us to stop where ever we choose (out of sight) so we can always stop before Dinas however it is a great spot for an overnight stop and we could find a quiet spot on the beach easily.
- 34.6 miles
- 1450ft
- Ride time 03: 30
There is a cafe in Dinas that has awesome food and coffee. Then we simply follow the coast back going through Caernarfon and Bangor before heading to Conwy and back to the cars. Depending on stops we will be back by mid afternoon and home by 17:00
The cost of parking and fuel will be shared between all the riders and if wild camping does not appeal then you will need to source your own overnight stop. The dates are also not restricted if we wild camp. We can share kit so we do not carry duplicates. For instance I have a large tarp big enough for 4 to sleep under. All we need to do is find a weekend that suits and get ready for an epic summer bikepacking trip.
